Whether it be culture or activities, sea, land or water, the state of Quebec has a lot to offer for all 4 seasons and the opening of Club Med’s Le Massif de Charlevoix an all-inclusive resort located just 60-90 minutes from Quebec’s airport between the sea and mountains provides a new destination.
Le Massif de Charlevoix
A ski area in Quebec with stunning waterfront views directly overlooking the St Lawrence River. It has a vertical drop of 770m which is the highest in Eastern Canada and east of the Rockies. The ski area boasts 52 pistes, there are runs to suit all abilities with 15% easy runs, 30% intermediate, 20% difficult and 35% very difficult. The resort has a high annual snowfall of 645 cm and snowmaking on 70% of the terrain. If you don’t ski there are sledges, snowmobile tours, husky rides, relaxing in the spa, learning new menus and of course après ski.
In summer, the glades spread over 307 acres and into the countryside with tracks for mountain biking, hiking and riding. The shoreline offers kayaking and whale watching trips. Other activities include golf, nature tours, ice wine tasting and visits to the beautiful Quebec City.
